THE CHALLENGE

The Greater Reston Chamber of Commerce (GRCC) needed a more dynamic website that displayed current information and allowed members to register online for their many events. They wished to be able to update this information in-house. They also wanted members to be able to reach each others easily through their website.

THE SOLUTION

By adding an online searchable member directory, the members can use this website to easily find a needed service, or find the person they met at a networking session. The chamber is now using this directory exclusively and is no longer offering members a printed version. Chamber staff updates the data for the directory and for their events on a regular basis via a web-based administration area. Members know that the website is the place to go for the most current information. The site is informative and up to date due to the functionality that we installed.

THE SUCCESS

The GRCC website gets many visitors. The online registration system handles most of their registrations for their events. The online directory is the second most accessed area of this site, next to the "What's New" area, that is always current because it is so easy to maintain. SilverWeb is proud to say that GRCC has been our customer for over seven years.
